The musings of Paj Dawb (Hmong for "White Flower") - I serve the mentally ill/disabled by day, teach piano by night, and spent 6 years worshiping side-by-side with the Hmong branch of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints in Alaska. There's nothing average to see here...

George, my GPS, delivered me safely to my cousin Andy's house yesterday. The view was a ton of beautiful nothing as you can see, with a few dozen farm silos peppered along the way. Andy put me up in his computer room which has our grandfather's old fold-out couch in it. I spent the rest of the day with Andy, visiting his parents and then coming back to his house and hanging out with cousin Mike, his wife Andrea, and their son Michael (he's 2 and the cutest little boy ever). Andy and little Michael were on the drumset in the basement with Mike at the mic with an electric guitar... They were pretty darn good. I didn't know they were musically inclined. I cruised around catching cute shots with my camera and chatting with Andrea. The evening was surreal and much needed.

The farm scene is not too bad, as long as the farm smell is not close by ;)
